Peter é um diretor de cinema de sucesso e mora com seu assistente Karl, a quem gosta de maltratar e humilhar. Sidonie, uma grande atriz que foi sua musa por muitos anos, o apresenta a Amir, um belo e modesto jovem. Peter se apaixona por Amir e se oferece para dividir seu apartamento com ele e ajudá-lo a entrar na indústria cinematográfica. O plano funciona, mas assim que ganha fama, Amir termina com Peter, deixando-o sozinho para enfrentar seus demônios.
