Cinco crianças salvam a vida de um alienígena parecido com um cachorro no seu acampamento de verão. Ele tenta recompensá-los, levando-os para uma colônia alienígena na Lua. Os acontecimentos pioram quando o seu relato do ataque que o feriu faz com que a passagem da Lua para a Terra seja banida, e as crianças ficam presas no espaço. As crianças precisam encontrar um caminho de volta para casa antes que o acampamento termine e seus pais descubram que estão desaparecidas. Eles também têm que evitar os caçadores furtivos que machucaram o seu amigo alienígena, e agora parecem estar a persegui-lo a todos.
