Henry, a shy, awkward fifth-grader, is afraid of girls, avoids sports, and is hounded by class bullies Leslie and Tom. The situation changes, however, when newcomer Brian arrives in class and replaces Henry as the object of ridicule. Henry succumbs to peer pressure and joins the other children in teasing Brian. Fortunately, a series of surprising events in gym class allows Henry's true character to prevail.
