Julia Jentsch (nascida em 20 de fevereiro de 1978), é uma atriz alemã ganhadora do prêmio de Silver Bear, duas vezes European Film Award. Ela é mais conhecida como personagem-título em Sophie Scholl - The Final Days, Jule em The Edukators e, Liza em I Served the King of England.
Jentsch nasceu em uma família de advogados em Berlim e começou sua educação artística lá na Hochschule Ernst Busch, uma universidade de teatro. Seu primeiro papel de destaque na tela foi no filme cult de 2004, The Edukators, estrelando ao lado de Daniel Brühl. Jentsch atraiu mais atenção interpretando o papel-título no filme Sophie Scholl - The Final Days, de 2005, que foi indicado ao Oscar de Melhor Filme Estrangeiro. When Frank is told that he has to spend school holidays with Pistorius, he tries to commit suicide. Petra tells Frank's father (the chairman of the school's governing body) but he believes Pistorius instead of his own son. Petra fails to convince people of the man's true nature. 30 years later, Frank goes to Petra, who has long since left the school and has stopped teaching altogether. He has never been able to speak about what happened but now, after the suicide of another pupil, he is no longer willing to remain silent. He wants Petra to bear witness at the school's forthcoming anniversary celebrations.
