Tom Ewell, nascido Samuel Yewell Tompkins, (Kentucky, 29 de abril de 1909 – Los Angeles, 12 de setembro de 1994) foi um ator norte-americano. Seu papel de maior sucesso foi como Richard Sherman na comédia romântica The Seven Year Itch (1955), no qual contracenou com Marilyn Monroe. Seus seguintes trabalhos receberam pouco destaque e eram voltados para comédias televisivas. Seu papel mais bem-sucedido e, sem dúvida, mais identificável veio em 1952, quando ele se juntou à produção da Broadway de The Seven Year Itch. Com Vanessa Brown como "The Girl", Ewell desempenhou o papel mais de 950 vezes ao longo de três anos.

It turns out, of course, that Crandall's "disgrace" was merely a ruse to allow him to work undercover in bringing Largo and his minions to justice.
