"Looking for men and women aged over 65" was the small ad in a local newspaper in Wuppertal, through which the choreographer Pina Bausch sought senior performers for the remake of her dance spectacle "Kontakthof". 26 amateurs aged from 65 to 72 were selected. They rehearsed for over a year and the premiere took place in the early 2000s in Wuppertal. Lilo Mangelsdorff has accompanied this exceptional project with a camera. The result is a touching film, which focuses on the dancers' stand with their fears and inhibitions, their enthusiasm and passion.

A description of a day in the life of the 'Sisters of Bethania'. The only convent of this small, contemplative congregation of Dominicans in Austria is situated in the rural remoteness of the village of Nestelbach, near Graz (Styria). Today there are eleven sisters living in a former country-castle, following the determination of their order in strict cloisterly regularity. Significant for the mystic-contemplative existence of the Bethanians are the vivid, daily mechanics and the ritualized form of their life, the sequence and the systematics of practice, introspection, (keeping) silence, change and return of the hourly prayers, of the times of daily work and chores in the house and garden and the silent presence in the chapel.

No quarto episódio, La Vente du Tableau/Selling the Painting, Reinette e Mirabelle conseguem vender uma das pinturas de Reinette a um negociante de arte, enquanto Reinette finge ser muda e Mirabelle, agindo como se não conhecesse Reinette, é quem fala.

No filme O Raio Verde, Éric Rohmer apresenta o sofrimento de uma personagem que se sente deslocada da época em que vive. No início, Delphine não sabe o que fazer quando sua amiga cancela a viagem que tinham planejado juntas. O Raio Verde conta, então, o que vai surgindo dia após dia antes e durante as suas férias. Logo seus amigos acabam conseguindo algumas alternativas. Ela passa uns dias na praia, outros na montanha, alguns em Paris, outros em uma nova praia… mas nada a satisfaz. Nesse sentido, ela sempre se sente solitária, à procura de um substituto para seu ex-noivo. Essencialmente, Delphine é pessoa que não se adapta aos tempos em que vive. Seus ideais românticos afastam a ideia do sexo casual, e esse mesmo pensamento a leva também a não consumir carne, pois considera uma violência com os animais. Seu romantismo reflete também uma tendência a acreditar piamente na sorte, e vê significados nas cartas que encontra por acaso e na visão de um raro raio verde.
