She decides she will do better for herself, and is determined to achieve the American Dream. One day while making a delivery, she stumbles upon an underground world of immigrant women in Grand Central station. This world is called the "Golden Palace". She finds a new friend in Lily - her alter ego. She also meets an American man named, Jack and falls for him. As Ah Na grapples onto the hope of a brighter future, the ghosts of her past soon catch up with her. Will Ah Na achieve her sense of place in the real world or will she be forever lost in the uncertainty of the past?
