Mrs. Jiang
NJ Jian mora com sua esposa, seus dois filhos e a sogra já idosa, formando uma típica família de classe média. NJ é sócio de uma bem-sucedida empresa de computação, mas, se não buscar novos rumos, em breve irá à falência. Para tanto, ele busca fazer uma parceria com Ota, um inovador designer de jogos de computação no Japão, que pode dar o novo toque que sua empresa precisa. Mas as coisas começam a dar para os Jian quando a integrante mais velha da família sofre um derrame e entra num coma o qual poderá nunca mais acordar. Neste meio termo, NJ ainda reencontra Sherry, seu primeiro amor de infância, que reaparece em sua vida, agora casada com um americano.
Set in Shanghai in the 1940s. Story of a ballroom girl Jolie Chan who falls in love with a student and becomes pregnant, but the student's family force her to have an abortion.
Aming travels to his home from America to take some photos for a company but finds a girl named Chiang Jo Ping (Joey Wang), falls in love with her, but actually it turns out that Jo Ping is a ghost.
The film is composed of four unconnected Chinese myths, including how Pangu opened the sky, Nuwa created man, Kuafu chased the sun, and when Huangdi fights Chiyou, of which the latter occupies the longest section. Between the stories, the director connects them with narrations "full of sensibility and philosophy", thus forming a "picture of the founding of the ancestors" imagined by the director.
