Masumi Suetanii

The story is set in Chiran, Kagoshima, the site of a secret base used to launch kamikaze missions during the war. At the time, a group of young girls known as the Nadeshiko Tai were gathered to help out at the base. The drama will be part documentary and it is based on the experiences of 78-year-old Shoko Nagasaki, a survivor of the Nadeshiko Tai.

A recent accident has left Satoru Iwamoto, an elementary school student, temporarily wheelchair-ridden. In addition, the recent loss of his mother has thrown Satoru into a reclusive state, locking himself from the outside world. However, in an effort to help Satoru recover from his injuries, his father, Kaoru, has designed a remote-controlled robot that will go to school in his place and allow him to interact with people and do normal things.

Após a queda de meteoritos na terra, crianças começam a desaparecer nos locais onde foi vista uma grande sombra sobrevoando a cidade. As irmãs fadas(Elias) vão investigar e acham vestígios de essência de dinossauros e percebe que um grande mau foi liberado. King Ghidorah está de volta, um monstro que acredita-se ter visitado a terra há milhões de anos e ter causado destruição aos dinossauros. Mais uma vez Mothra surge para a batalha, mas seu inimigo é muito forte e ela é obrigada a tomar uma grande decisão para poder derrotá-lo.

O antigo monstro Dagahra desperta graças aos altos niveis de poluião no oceano. Ele lança no mar umas criaturas estrelas-do-mar venenosas que devasta o oceano, matando muitas criaturas marinhas e atacando os humanos. Mothra surge para deter o monstro e mais uma batalha é travada, onde Mothra apresenta novos tipos de transformações.

Durante uma escavação, funcionários de uma mineradora acham um simbolo estranho entre as rochas. Um selo magico que guarda ali, uma grande criatura que há muitos anos aterrorizou a terra, chamada Desghidorah. A quebra do selo liberta o monstro que mais uma vez, causa destruição e pânico. É chegada a hora de mais uma vez, Mothra, surgir para defender o planeta. Mas, Mothra se encontra em estado crítico, pois ela está muito velha e gastou energia para gerar um ovo. Tem inicio uma batalha entre gigantes monstros, onde o resultado decidirá o futuro do planeta.
