Joseph Crone (Timothy Gibbs) é um famoso escritor que se muda para Barcelona após a trágica morte de sua esposa e filho. Lá ele encontra o irmão Samuel (Michael Landes) e o pai, Richard (Denis Rafter), que está à beira da morte. Repentinamente Joseph passa a ser atormentado por constantes aparições dos números 11-11, sempre em acontecimentos inexplicáveis. Ele passa a investigar seu significado e logo descobre que se refere a uma data, 11/11/11, na qual um portal se abrirá e uma perigosa força sobrenatural será libertada.
