Dinamarca, século XIX. Filippa (Bodil Kjer) e Martine (Birgitte Federspiel) são filhas de um rigoroso pastor luterano que sempre pregou a salvação através da renúncia. Benny and Arnold are homeless and along with others living on Nørrebro in Copenhagen. The police is set to clear the building they squat in, but on the night of the forced eviction, local acid head Spacy jumps from the sixth floor.

Egon is starting to be a little forgetful; he forgot the zone number, so he fails to open the strongbox. When he gets out of Vridslose State Prison, Kjeld and Benny have become associates of Yvonne's cousin Georg from America. He is not just some old-fashioned strongbox thief that can't remember like Egon, but a young hip IT criminal, that thinks that everyone else is inferior. However, Egon doesn't take lightly to the Georg's patronizing so he sabotages Georg's computer and ruins his cup. This time Egon's ambitions reaches a new high, when he and his gang break in to the World Bank, and they get away with it. Of course, thanks to Yvonne, they aren't rich very long.

Egon and his two cronies managed to sneak a fortune with them to Spain. Here they live a life in a whirl of pleasures, but they are not truly happy. While Egon always has the money chained to him, Bøffen still manages to steal them. Egon ends up in jail once again, and when he comes out, he has a brilliant plan.

Johannes Vig lever et ensomt liv på Sandø. Han er skolelærer og da Sandø i øjeblikket er afskåret fra omverden pga. is må øens befolkning klare sig selv. Johannes er hemmeligt forelsket i både Annemari, købmandens unge datter og i gårdmandskonen Rigmor. Samtidig er Johannes liv meget trøstesløs og det er svært for ham at give sin kærlighed udtryk. Øens liv forstyrres af Harry, en ung ingeniør der gør kur til Annemari. Taking place on a small villa road: The two neighbors Gormsen and Sandelund have been at a dispute for years and this evolves into an all out war. Sandelund is a wholesale dealer in meet, a capitalist and has one of this modem houses with a flat roof. Gormsen is a dentist, and a communist, he has a new wife that are younger then his son, and lives in one of these old-fashioned half-timbered houses. A third factor is the merchant Krause. To begin with he is a small time grocer and progresses into the end, a big time businessman. He is a deeply religious man, a good Christian, and member of the parochial church council. There children, (teenagers) find their conflict silly and stupid.

A dark evening, a crime writer Peter Sander, drives through a forest when his car runs out of petrol . A little distance from the road there is a house with lighted windows, and he goes there to borrow a phone. Suddenly he trips over a tree root and sprain one foot . He lags up the forest road . Then there is a shot, a moment after running steps. A beam cuts through the dark. It goes out . The steps moves away. Peter gets up and stomps up to the house . No one responds to his knokking.

At Vesterbros Torv in Copenhagen, Olsen has his newspaper kiosk. Here comes high and low in society: Homeless, a district attorney with pain in marriage, a barmaid and a writer. They all fight with theirs, while Olsen's good heart makes him interfere in everything he can.

A surprising film about the large number of inadequately addressed letters that the postal service receives every day. The film is an invitation to the audience to address letters correctly.

I en lille sjællandsk landsby, hvor alt tilsyneladende er lutter idyl, lever syersken Bolette Jensen, en djærv kvinde, som har gjort sine bitre erfaringer og nu er frygtet for sin skarpe tunge. Bolette plejer at sige sin mening uden omsvøb, og da sandheden som bekendt er ilde hørt, er hun ikke synderlig afholdt af sognets magthavere, hvis mest fremtrædende skikkelse er sognerådsformanden Peter Enevoldsen. Bolette får en alvorlig opgave, da den unge kønne Sofie skal have barn, og Bolette tager sig straks af den ulykkelige pige og lover, at hun nok skal komme til at spadsere op ad kirkegulvet med sin Karl.
