Constance Rousseau fez sua estréia na frente da câmera da diretora Mia Hansen-Love em seu filme Everything Is Forgiven , em 2007. Por este papel de uma jovem tentando se reconectar com seu pai, ela ganhou o "Prix Premier rendez-vous" no Festival de Cinema Cabourg romântico. Posteriormente, a atriz apareceu principalmente em filmes de televisão, como uma adaptação para a televisão de Le Bourgeois gentilhomme de Christian de Chalonge em 2009, bem como em La Mauvaise Rencontrem, dirigido por Josée Dayan em 2011. No mesmo ano filmou Un Monde sans femmes , de Guillaume Brac, no qual ela co-estrelou com Vincent Macaigne, e dois anos depois no drama americano Simon Killer, de Antonio Campos , com Brady Corbet .
