Story
Ginny Grainger (Mary Steenburgen) é uma mulher amarga e que acalenta poucos sonhos. As dificuldades econômicas, o trabalho como caixa no supermercado e as diferenças com o marido ocupam toda sua atenção. Com a chegada do Natal, ela insiste em convencer os filhos de que Papai-Noel não existe. Mas isso não é o que eles pensam. Em especial sua pequena filha Abbie, principalmente depois que é visitada por um anjo que tem a missão de fazer Ginny redescobrir o espírito do Natal.

Ted is an entrepreneur whose hopes of selling 10,000 automatized ashtrays are scattered away after his buyer died. The story revolves around dozen of people whose lives are intertwined around Ted's Sisyphean attempts to return the money of a loan shark whose services he had to seek for.
