Um ônibus, repleto de prisioneiros, sofre um acidente. Apenas quatro sobrevivem. Eles matam todos os guardas e fogem para a floresta levando o Dr. Douglas como refém. Lá encontram uma misteriosa casa velha onde resolvem se abrigar. Na casa, encontram uma família muito estranha que se comunica através de um antigo dialeto.
