Quem poderia ter estrangulado a famosa estrela da Broadway, enquanto ela despreocupadamente descansava nas areias de uma praia localizada em exclusiva ilha no Mediterrâneo? Conhecendo-se Agatha Christie, a resposta só pode ser... Todos!! Esta é a quarta, e provavelmente a melhor, produção de Brabourne/Goodwin, que começou com "Assassinato no Expresso Oriente" (1974), baseada em história da Rainha do Crime. Hercule Poirot tem, então, mais um caso a resolver. Um excelente elenco participa deste filme, James Mason e Sylvia Miles, como dois produtores da Broadway que a vítima humilharia, Roddy McDowall como um colunista social que vê em uma biografia da explosiva artista a sua tímida e ciumenta esposa. Além, é claro , de Peter Ustinov como o grande Hercule Poirot. A música de Cole Porter completa o pedigree deste filme que não só é um excelente filme de suspense como também um bom exemplo de como manter o clima de mistério sem apelar para a violência excessiva.

Uma espécie de tragicomédia de aventura, o filme "Robin e Marian" mostra a lenda de Robin Hood porém cerca de vinte anos após a maioria das versões da história, com Robin e seu ajudante Little John retornando ao seu antigo esconderijo na floresta de Sherwood cansado do mundo das Cruzadas e sua brutalidade revoltante. Eles são informados por seus ex-companheiros Frei Tuck e Will Scarlett que Maid Marian agora vive no convento nas proximidades, onde ela se tornou uma abadessa. Marian saúda o retorno de Robin com sentimentos mistos, mas depois que ele a resgata de seu inimigo de longa data, o xerife de Nottingham, que tenta prendê-la por motivos religiosos, os dois se tornam amantes mais uma vez.

In Dublin, a working class family has been unsuccessful in convincing their son to get a real job: the son prefers his job of scooping up horse's dung and selling it for flower gardens. An American exchange student almost runs him over and gets to know him. The dung man has ignored warnings from his family and suddenly the horses have been banned from Dublin. His new love is leaving for America and he must find a way to cope with the new reality.
