Desta vez como estrelas máximas do evento, o Iron Maiden fechou a antepenúltima noite do evento, que ficou conhecida como "noite do metal" ou "Sexta metal", devido à participação exclusiva de representantes do estilo Heavy Metal. Os integrantes da banda consideraram a apresentação memorável, tendo-a transformado no CD e DVD Rock in Rio em 2002. Esta registra a maior apresentação da banda, que tocou para um público de 250 mil pessoas. O show no festival também marcou o fim da turnê do disco Brave New World.

On August 28, 1993, metal superstars Iron Maiden and horror illusionist Simon Drake combined to create the most macabre musical event of all time: Raising Hell. In this first and only live rock concert with a horror movie setting, Raising Hell celebrates lead singer Bruce Dickinson's final performance with Iron Maiden. The band's electrifying concert performance, taped live at Pinewood Studios, London, incorporates blood curdling illusions and seventeen classic Iron Maiden songs, five not seen on the original pay-per-view broadcast. In a 100+ minutes, Iron Maiden "raises hell" in a performance that will live on forever.

Live at Donington was the recording of Iron Maiden's second headlining appearance at the Monsters of Rock festival at Castle Donington on 22 August 1992 during the Fear of the Dark Tour in front of a crowd of almost 80,000.

In 2010, legendary heavy metal band Iron Maiden announced "The Final Frontier World Tour". This film follows the adventures of two fans as they follow the European leg of the tour. The faithful documentary, dubbed "the fans' Flight 666", offers an intimate portrait of devout fanaticism, and shows the comic lengths to which people will go in pursuit of those they idolise.
