Cuca Canals has a degree in Information Sciences from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Until 1992 he worked in advertising, winning numerous international awards. As a screenwriter has worked with Bigas Luna in 'Jamon Jamon' (Silver Lion at the Venice Film Festival), Golden Eggs (Special Jury Prize at the Festival of San Sebastián), 'La Teta y la Luna' (Golden Osella best Screenplay at the Venice Film Festival) and 'La Camarera del Titanic' (best Screenplay Award at the Festival of Cairo and 1998 Goya Award for Best Adapted Screenplay), among other works. His first novel, 'Berta la Larga', was a critical and commercial success, and has been translated into several languages. In 1998 she published her second novel. She is also an interesting painter that has been exhibited in Madrid and Barcelona.

“I Want To Be A Soldier” is the story of Alex, an average 8 year old child who develops a morbid fascination for images portraying violence. He starts to have communication problems with his parents and other children at school and becomes withdrawn, inventing two imaginary friends.

Valére (Belén Fabra) é uma jovem empresária de sucesso, que tem uma intensa vida sexual. Ela possui um diário, onde costuma escrever suas confissões mais íntimas. Decidida a não seguir qualquer convenção moral, ela passa a trabalhar como prostituta de luxo por mera curiosidade. Desta forma ela conhece um universo oculto, tendo acesso ao lado obscuro do sexo e das relações íntimas.

When he returns home, he suspects that his wife Zoe has been sleeping with Simeon, the foundry owner. Horty goes to the bar, where his friends get him drunk and he starts telling an erotic fantasy of what happened with him and Marie, drawing a larger audience each night.

Screenplay
Benito González is a flamboyant engineer in Melilla, with a brash and pushy personality. His dream is to build the tallest building ever in the region. After his girlfriend leaves him, he devotes himself entirely to his ambitions, deciding to let nothing get in his way. He marries the daughter of a billionaire, intending to use her father's money to realise his project. Benito waltzes his way through a career of excess, fetishes and deceptions, but the personal conflicts he unleashes ultimately send his life spiraling down to disaster.
