As the Palaces Burn is a feature-length documentary that originally sought to follow Lamb of God and their fans throughout the world, to demonstrate how music ties us together when we can’t find any other common bond. However, during the filming process in 2012, the story abruptly took a dramatic turn when lead singer Randy Blythe was arrested on charges of manslaughter and blamed for the death of one of their young fans in the Czech Republic. What followed was a heart-wrenching courtroom drama that left fans, friends, and curious onlookers around the world on the edge of their seats.

Joe told a lie and took all the glory, and Dennis was left as a mute from the accident. Dennis can't talk, but actions speak louder then words. The two return home to N.Y. and now the war rages in the streets. Dennis wants revenge on Joe, so he will kill everyone close to him.

Follow the story of Jesus in this slapstick satire. With a name like "Jesus, the Total Douchebag" the movie should only be seen by people who enjoy blasphemous comedy, and as such, the comedy is focused on targets that are usually exempt. Director Bill Zebub explains, "Indie movies should revel in their freedom. They are not confined to the same boundaries as the big budget movies. They should give what Hollywood can't."

The movie is set up like an awards show, where Oderus Urungus and Sleazy P. Martini reminisce with montages. They are the only two members of Gwar to make appearances, save a brief cameo by Balsac the Jaws of Death at the end, though some of the other Slave Pit Inc. employees are featured. The announcer at the awards show is played by Chris Bopst, who was the first person to play Balsac the Jaws of Death.
