The Camparis are a family of women. Sheri is a larger-than-life authoritarian mother, a former ballroom dancing champion who is now fulfilling her passion through her youngest daughter Tasi. Tasi is the darling of the local amateur ballroom circuit, pretty and spoilt, very attached to her older sister, Toni, who is rather plain and insecure. The only man in the Camparis' life is Cedric, Tasis' s gay dance partner and Toni's best friend. When Tasi announces that she is pregnant, her mother Shari decides to groom Toni to take her sister's place and win the coming ballroom competition. But Toni is changing, she has fallen in love with blonde dancer Moana. Maybe a new, and unconventional, girl-girl couple will make her accept the challenge. Conhece o Zak, um rapazinho órfão que desconhece o verdadeiro significado do Natal. Ele detesta as férias, pois vê apenas uma oportunidade para vender brinquedos, algo que nunca recebeu. Zak passa os dias a brincar na sala do orfanato. Um dia, o diretor manda-o devolver um robô defeituoso, o PD3, à fábrica. Zak sente uma conexão com o robô, pois também se sente defeituoso. Quando percebe que o seu amigo robô está prestes a ser destruído, Zak salva-o do fogo. Juntos, entram em Scraptown, o mundo secreto dos robôs rejeitados, e fazem amizade com robôs poderosos. No entanto, Boggin DeMoto, o terrível líder de Scraptown, planeia raptar as crianças do orfanato para as transformar em soldados e conquistar a cidade na noite de Natal. Zak e os amigos fogem de Scraptown e encontram ajuda em Commodore, um robô que lhes ensina o verdadeiro significado do Natal. Inspirado pela mensagem de paz de Commodore, Zak e os amigos salvam o orfanato e mantêm o espírito natalício vivo.
