Ten-year old Agathe-Christine, or simply AC, prefers to be on her own. AC fancy mysteries, and from the basement in the building, where she has just moved in, she has established a small detective bureau. AC´s first mystery appears to be simple to solve, but before long AC finds herself involved in a much more complicated affair, than she could have ever foreseen.

One day, a particularly large and scary customer dozes off and Maj ends up tattooing all over his huge back with her childish designs. Fearing the man's rage, Sonny and Maj make a hasty escape on Sonny's motorcycle—the start of an exciting adventure.

Full of repressed anger, 12-year-old Helena runs away from home. She travels deep into the forest to climb an old volcano, her imaginary doodle friends keeps her company on the way. Getting to the top takes all her survivals skills and on her way she must face her inner struggles. Only then can she return to her everyday life as her new self.
