Num hotel próximo a um aeroporto de Paris, dois desconhecidos tentam encontrar algum sentido em suas existências. O norte-americano Gary, engenheiro de informática, submetido a fortes pressões profissionais e afetivas, decide mudar radicalmente sua vida.
