Rome, 1880. Gregorio Ferramonti (Anthony Quinn) has decided to close his bakery, the family business. But Irene (Dominique Sanda), the wife of Pippo, a beautiful, calculating and ambitious young woman, wants to take over the inheritance. This movie is an Emmanuelle film in name only. Carmen Villani does get naked often, and there is this guy who looks like he was in the :Monkeys: The film begins with Billy ( Roberto Cenci ) who rushes to the airport of Tunis , for the arrival of her friend Andrea ( Carmen Villani ), returning from Paris with her husband. But Billy's happiness is shattered when she learns quickly that it should host to his house, at the request of Andrea, Bobby ( Gianfranco D'Angelo ), in love with Andrea, and Dr. Censi ( Nadia Cassini ), a friend of Bobby, who tries in vain to cure him of his uncontrollable desire of women, but to no avail, even allowing himself to him, after having hypnotized. After realizing that Bobby was not the right man for her, Andrea finally falls in love Billy.

Based on a true incident, this tells the story of a troubled young man who kills his sister's reactionary, violent and abusive husband and is eventually arrested for the murder. However, the dead husband happened to be a member of the Italian nobility, and the trial starts to turn into more of a prosecution of the defendant's socialist politics and the activities of his father, a well known liberal social reformer, than the actual crime itself.

Young engineer Francesco Ferraro (Enzo Bottesini) is sent to Smeraldo Island in the Seychelles to oversee the tests necessary to dig a silver mine. But Francesco must also find out what happened to his predecessor, vanished without trace. The island seems to be an Eden on Earth, and the native girls freely explore the joys of sex, but there is something in the dark working against Francesco, and a mysterious accident disables his delicate equipment.
