Xiang Lun , jovem e talentoso pianista, é transferido para uma prestigiada escola de arte e música. Logo no seu primeiro dia de aula, caminhando pelo campus junto a uma de suas colegas de classe, ele ouve uma misteriosa melodia ecoar de um dos salões de música mais próximos. Intrigado, ao seguir aquela estranha e distante música, ele chega a uma antiga sala e se depara com uma garota que, por sua vez, admite ser a pessoa que estava a tocar o velho piano. Mais tarde, após a aula, Xiang Lun segue a estudante e lhe pergunta qual seria o nome daquela música que ela havia tocado, e, em resposta à sua pergunta, a jovem sussurra em seu ouvido: “Esse é o meu segredo”.
