Set on a famous nudist beach, Maslin Beach is a film about crazy people involved in crazy misunderstandings and romantic squabbles, a naked and hilarious search for the meaning of life. And it's also a gentle story about love. Simon attempts to summon the courage to face the truth about his relationship with Marcie over the course of one afternoon, leading to a bittersweet jolt to his life. With other relationships on the beach interfering with his objective to propose, a myriad of characters attempt to make sense of life, love and it all.

Dissatisfied with the family architectural business, a man and his wife pack up and move out to his great-grandfather's old house in the country. Newspaper editor Arthur Sherwood is on a hunting trip when he accidentally stumbles upon a nudist camp in the woods. He is very much shocked by this and decides to send reporter Stacy Taylor to the camp so she can write an expose on the camp and have it shut down. However, much to her surprise, Stacy finds that she enjoys the nudist lifestyle and writes some very positive articles on her experiences, which doesn't sit well with Arthur. Arthur then decides to join the camp himself and write his own story.

A nudist site in eastern Germany is sold to Dieter Lohe, a conservative textile manufacturer from Bavaria. He visits his new property with his daughter Natalie, and plans to use the property as a hunting ground.
