A struggle to hear and to be heared. Alma, a beautiful girl who didn’t get the chance to hear how chaos the world is since she was born. Her mother then bought a hearing device to Alma hoping she would love the idea of sound. Alma thought hearing them would make her the perfect girl to her people. She got it wrong. It wasn’t just that she couldn’t hear, she wasn’t being heard. By a poetry in her room, she asks her shadows about love she has to the universe.
The true story of Helen Keller and Annie Sullivan, a gripping battle to overcome impossible obstacles and the struggle to communicate. As a young girl, Helen Keller is stricken with scarlet fever. The illness leaves her blind, mute, and deaf. Sealed off from the world, Helen cannot communicate with anyone, nor anyone with her. Often frustrated and desperate, Helen flies into uncontrollable rages and tantrums that terrify her hopeless family.
