The Deadly Triangle (1977)

When a diamond heist goes wrong, the three would-be robbers go on the run from the law. They soon find themselves involved with a beautiful woman who may wind up being even more trouble for them than the botched robbery.

The tale of five Uruguayan villagers who embark on a journey to see the ocean for the first time. They depart in a broken down freight truck, property of Rodríguez, a taciturn man who loves the sea. Their point of departure is a local bar, and at the last minute, an unknown man from the bar joins their adventure.

The plot deals with the developments in an old decadent village after a stranger arrives at the old train station, an event in itself. This stranger is a Brazilian musician who carries and plays his "oboe". The music from the oboe, the musician's instrument, will change the lives of everyone involved, and that small village itself will forever be changed by the sound of the oboe.

Based on the lives of four boys, all of different social classes and psychological makeup, this film tries to reflect through them the political history of Argentina during the years leading up to the Malvinas War.
