Originally set for release on February 13, 2003, it was delayed several times, due to unspecified "production issues". War at the Warfield peaked at number 3 on the Billboard DVD chart with sales of 7,000.

With the use of today's technology, Keller creates samples on the fly in front of the audience, a technique called live phrase sampling or looping. With nothing pre-recorded, and accompanying himself on acoustic guitar, the end result often leans toward a hybrid of alternative folk and groovy electronica. This concert film features eight songs filmed at the Capital Center in Landover, Maryland and Wembley Stadium in 1974. "The Capital Center was the one place back then filming concerts," says Nash. "We didn't even know they were doing it. It's a little funky-looking because we didn't light it for film or television, but I picked eight songs I thought were very representative of how we were then."

A quiet man of sorrows tells his story: war, capture, harrowing conditions, escape, and miraculous rescue. Where did he find the strength; how does he now live with his memories?
