Leela (2016)

Jagannathan faces several challenges when he goes to stay in Kanimangalam village. He promises the villagers that he will help in the preparations for the annual temple festival, but will his enemies leave him in peace?

Saraswathiyamma is the head of a noble family that treats her servant Krishnan as one of her own sons. When her relatives conspire to sell her house, she and Krishnan set out to save it.

In this story, Horton discovers there is a microscopic community of intelligent beings called the Who's living on a plant that only he can hear. Recognising the dangers they face, he resolves to keep them safe. However, the other animals around him think Horton has gone crazy thinking that there are such beings.

However, Joy suddenly has a new set of people and problems as 'Punyalan Agarbattis' comes to a halt.

Harikrishnan is a geeky software professional who suffers from an obsessive compulsive disorder. A harthal day sees him travelling to Trivandrum for a conference, and in the midst of the night, he ends up at Paravur railway station with two strangers - Gopalan a veteran politician and Narayani a social worker - for company.

Chanthu, a poor orphan and Aromal are cousins and belong to the Chekavar clan, a warrior clan who hire themselves out as duellers to settle disputes among the rich and powerful. Ottaal (The Trap) is an adaptation of one of Anton Chekhov's timeless works, Vanka. A story of the 18th century, but one that has traveled the time and space to be retold in the present day at a small village in the South of India. Kuttappayi, a young boy, is miserable and desperate as he starts writing a letter to his grandfather from a place, dim and dark. Kuttappayi's recollections takes us to the picturesque locations of Kuttanad, where Kuttappayi and his grandpa, Valiyappachayi, are arriving with their ducks. The village is as pleasant as it can be even though what brings him there is the death of his dearest parents. With hope and freedom, he is about to start his life afresh among the village's letter-less postman, the nameless dog, the rich lad, Tinku and many more.

Omanakuttan is an introverted salesman who is down on confidence and luck. Spurred on by his colleague he decides to change himself and tries to act like a flirt. He meets Pallavi a free spirited girl, but as luck would have it he wakes up with memory loss and struggles to figure out who he really is. Both of them join in on an adventure to figure out the real Omanakuttan.

Poovalli Induchoodan (Mohanlal) is sentenced for six years prison life for murdering his classmate. Induchoodan, the only son of Justice Maranchery Karunakara Menon (Thilakan) was framed in the case by Manapally Madhavan Nambiar (Narayanan Nair) and his crony DYSP Sankaranarayanan (Bheeman Raghu) to take revenge on idealist judge Menon who had earlier given jail sentence to Manapally in a corruption case. The story begins with Induchoodan released and his father & mother coming to stay with him.

Even though crime branch officer David Abraham is on suspension, he engages himself in the investigation of a case which is not yet recorded in the crime records.

Nammal is another campus movie from Kamal after Niram. What is different this time is Kamal introduces new faces Siddharth and Jishnu. Kamal provides glimpses of the new campus with adventure in his movie with these debutants. Snehalatha (Suhasini) takes charge as the Principal in a college where Shyam (Siddharth) and Sivan (Jishnu) are the heroes. Shyam and Sivan are fun filled characters as well as naughty. Aparna (Renuka Menon) is teased and ragged by the duo, who happens to be the daughter of Principal's friend. Aparna complaints and Snehalatha takes action against Shyam and Shivan. Soon to her surpurise she discovers that Shyam and Shivan are orphans, hardworking and their guardian is a priest (Balachandra Menon).

Chacko and Hari are two young ad professionals who are fed up with their boss (Sandra Thomas) and her tantrums. They decide to take a break and head to Goa, where Chacko ends up meeting a beautiful foreigner (Sabreen Baker). The rest of the story revolves around their return from Goa, a mysterious bag and an extremely angry boss. Chacko & Hari is played by Asif Ali and Aju.

Balachandran Unnithan (Jayaram) is a singer who falls in love with Ambika, a singer from his own troupe. They both end up getting married. Balachandran's family has been longing for a male child to inherit the family's wealth, but his elder brothers were having only female children. Ambika gets pregnant. Balachandran realizes that his wife is carrying a daughter, and not a son. Later, he meets his old classmate and best friend, Padmarajan, whose wife Hema was also pregnant. She was bearing a male child. However, their babies were swapped by mistake by Balu's mother soon after delivery. Both Padmarajan and Balu must keep this as a secret to see their children. When Balu's cousins discover this, the babies get kidnapped by the antagonists.

Gopalakrishnan is the son of Gopalan Nair, who rears cows and sells milk for a living. Gopalan Nair, now in his sixties, finds it hard to continue with his job and calls for the assistance of Remanan, the president of milkmen association and the only friend of his son Gopalakrishnan. Even though Gopalakrishnan could not pursue his studies after his sixth standard, he is not ready for any hard work and is only interested in making money the easy way.

Zakhariah (Jagathy Sreekumar) is a private banker who has returned from the gulf. He has a very straight forward life with his wife Molly (Uravashi) and their daughter Teena. His life takes a turn when one of his clients Girija Menon (Mukesh) gets close to him. From then on, Zakhariah begins to ignore business, family and gets into an illicit affair.

Mukundan (Sreenivasan) is looking for a bride. He meets Seethalakshmi and likes her. But he is threatened by Raghavan (Cochin Hanifa) who wishes to marry Seethalakshmi . Despite this Mukundan and Seethalakshmi gets married.
