Two fables by La Fontaine (1932)

In this hybrid of live-action and stop-motion animation, a young Hans Christian Andersen goes in search of knowledge in the Garden of Paradise in order to make his studies easier. Each time he falls asleep, he experiences in his dreams the different characters he would later write about in fairy tales including The Little Mermaid, Thumbelina and The Emperor's New Clothes.

И все бы было хорошо, если бы одним утром не пришел Иван к родителям и не рассказал им о своей Ненаглядной Красе, про которую ему няньки пели, а теперь каждый день снится. И хочет он идти по белу свету Красу Ненаглядную искать. Пошел Иван-Царевич, а в дороге встретился ему разбойник Булат, который и стал ему побратимом. Стали они вместе Красу искать и нашли. А оказалось, что она Кащея Бессмертного невеста, которая никак не хотела ему покориться. Тут Иван-Царевич с Булатом Кащея победили, а Красу Ненаглядную и Марьюшку, служанку Кощееву, вызволили. И привезли их в царские палаты, а царь на радостях две свадьбы сыграл.

Музыкант Смычков получает приглашение от господ помузицировать со своими приятелями. По дороге он решает искупаться в речушке. Та же мысль приходит молоденькой княжне Бибуловой. Пока герои купались в чем мать родила, их одежду похитили. Музыкант берется вызволить девушку из щекотливого положения и прячет ее в футляре контрабаса, а сам отправляется за подмогой. Тем временем футляр находят друзья музыканта. Не подозревая, что в нем сокрыто, они доставляют его на дачу и раскрывают перед публикой…

Мультфильм- «бродилка». Короткая история, герой которой — песочный человек — пробуждается от звука падающих капель в бескрайней пустыне. Он удивлен найти рядом с собой бутылку. В ней ничего нет, но с того самого момента песочный человек начинает свое путешествие. Он отправляется колесить пустыню в поисках воды. «Квест» — победитель «Оскара» в 1997 году в номинации «Лучший короткометражный анимационный фильм».
