Фильм рассказывает об увлекательных путешествиях замечательного русского ученого и писателя В. Арсеньева. В центре повествования образ таежного охотника Дерсу Узала — мудрого, доброго и отважного человека, связанного с Арсеньевым искренней дружбой.

Путешествие Рико и Рега продолжается. Они многому научились у Озен, но впереди их ждут ещё большие опасности, которые могут оборвать их путь, и неожиданные друзья. Они приближаются к такой глубине Бездны, где искатели приключений рискуют потерять даже человеческий облик.
