He was a Spanish director, producer and screenwriter. After studying Fine Arts and Decoration, he enrolled at the Madrid Film Research Institute, after which he devoted himself to advertising. Among his major works are The Verne Triology, Pieces, and Slugs. His works are internationally admired by prestigious horror directors such as Eli Roth or Edgar Wright.

После того, как затонула подводная лодка «Сирена-1», на её поиски отправляется другая подлодка под названием «Сирена-2». Снарядиться в экспедицию на ней уговаривают проектировщика первой субмарины, Вика Хэйеса. Экипаж с большим трудом погружается в подводную расщелину, слегка поцарапав корпус, и вскоре сталкивается с тем, что на огромной глубине существует жизнь, причём жизнь вовсе недружелюбная. Вслед за серией погружений обнаруживаются плотоядные морские водоросли, а ещё чуть позже — масса зловредных и охочих до человеческой плоти организмов, которые стали результатом генетических экспериментов над животными на «Сирене-1»…

Their evening of debauchery and blasphemy quickly turns to greed when they discover a local legend that tells of a vast fortune guarded by mummies in the catacombs beneath the ruins. Their lust for the treasure is short-lived as they find that the supernatural horror in the catacombs is something further than fear… it is Beyond Terror!
