Icíar and Fernando are young. They are both going through the most traumatic experience of their short lives: the loss of a parent. But Fernando and Icíar can neither share the pain nor the strategies for dealing with it. They live in different times. Fernando in 1977 in Bilbao faces the kidnapping of his father by ETA. Icíar in 2011 in Navarra faces her mother's fulminating cancer.

Spain. The Basque Country. Sometime in the 90s. Josu Jon, a young member of a terrorist organization, has suffered an almost complete memory loss after being wounded in a shooting with the Spanish police. As he awaits for his trial, his condition is being treated at the prison hospital. Other inmates belonging to the same organization try to make him remember how brave a "gudari" -a Basque soldier- he is and how he must go back to the armed fight for the independence of their country as soon as he gets out of prison. Meanwhile, Xabier, a college professor who has been death-threatened by the terrorists due to his political views on the Basque situation, is having an affair with Francesca, a young psychologist who happens to end up trying to help Josu Jon recover his memory. A warm feeling of mutual affection grows between her and her patient. At a point, it doesn't seem to be clear whether Josu Jon really wants to recover his memory or rather forget forever who he actually is.

This movie has any coherent plot. It is more the portrait of the lives of different people in the hard years of post-war in Spain (the 40's), and how people manage to survive in a country desolated by the war. Like other films: la colmena or roma (fellini) it shows us lots of characters and some moments of their lives.

Hugo has a son, Carlos, about the age of Ivon, that in addition to her father steal a large inheritance, falls in love for the young. But on Carlos, young, rich and handsome, hangs a mystery ... Remake of the film "Los peces rojos", 1955.

A German bank buys a small Spanish entity and announces to its employees that it will pre-retire them on January 1st. The cashier Galindo proposes his fellow coworkers a plan to steal a large sum of euros which will arrive on New Year's Eve.

Julia, an only child of an affluent, bank owning family living in Madrid, escapes from her family to get over her grief that her boyfriend has been imprisoned. Julia is a well educated woman, having studied in Switzerland and England, who wants to become a writer. Julia drives to a little village in Asturias called "Corralbos del Sella" and there she stays in a mansion "llendelabarca" of an old childhood friend "Pilara" she had spent many a happy summer with. Also living there is Pilara's mother in law Tia Gala, and her grandson Juanito. Julia's relationship with caretakers, teacher and priest makes Julia, a woman of the spanish capital, perhaps for the first time to not feel so alone.

Jesus returns to Spain after a long exile in Argentina. The family he meets is very different from the one he left: they live under the sadness of being the losers of the war, Marcela, before a beautiful young woman, is now an alcoholic, and the youngest can not even understand them. Jesus wants to start a new life in Spain but he feels out of place; Time has turned him into an inhabitant of the other side of the 'puddle'.

Based on Miguel Delibes novel. Rafael Corral, socialist member, decide to attend to the funeral of a friend although they had recomended him not to go for politic reasons. He finds there some friends and talking with them makes him to change his mind.

A small village in Navarre, Spain, XVII century. Garazi's grandmother is burned at the stake when accussed of being a witch and convicted by an inquisitor, something that brings Garazi under suspicion and eventually into prison, where she is atrociously tortured and humiliated.
