Madhu (Sachin) and Malti (Sarika) are college students, who are assigned by their professor, Anil Sharma, to play the title parts in a college play based on Romeo and Juliet. The two fall in love along the way but are forced to move to a big city to realise their love, as their traditional families oppose to their relationship. The later move to Goa, where a Goan couple looks after them, but soon decide to go back home and confront the situation.

An honest lawyer, Vishwanath is implicated and imprisoned at the behest of powerful underworld don, GNK and his associates. After his release from prison, Vishwanath decides to seek vengeance, but finds out that it is virtually impossible to do this through due process of law. So he decides to change his identity, hire a gang of crooks and assassins, to carry out his vendetta. Devrishi Narad informs Bhagwan Shri Vishnu of atrocities committed by Mahaant on low caste untouchables.
