A Donatello award nominated short feature about a slight incident that introduces a man and a woman in a quiet cafe.

In 1838 in the kingdom of Naples and the Two Sicilies, Malacarne, gamekeeper of Baron San Germano, kills the bandit Caruso, whose widow gives birth to Giovanni and at the same time becomes the nurse of Costanza, San Germano’s orphaned daughter. Thirteen years later, Giovanni and Costanza fall in love to the jealousy of her uncle, who shuts her in a convent, ordering Giovanni to be killed by Malacarne who has meanwhile become a bandit. Barely alive, Giovanni is taken away by Bourbon soldiers. After Garibaldi’s arrival in Sicily and its union with Italy, Costanza is freed from the convent and returns to San Germano. She is visited by Giovanni and although still loves him, rejects him since she wishes to become a nun. In the meantime, Giovanni kills Malacarne and takes his place. Costanza marries the rich Lo Turco and the next day departs for Naples, but during the journey the carriage is attacked by Giovanni’s band. Costanza flees with him and they leave for America.

A psychic finds herself tapping into the "energy" of a deceased phone operator. She also finds that her friends soon begin dying mysteriously. An investigator determines to track down the cause.

Nicola, a cop, spies on his wife Sarah buying sexy black panties and realises that she is having an affair. Following a violent confrontation, he leaves her. Immediately after, whilst taking a shower, Sarah is stabbed to death with an icepick. Believing it to be an simple crime of passion, the police assign Inspector Pierro Terzi to bring his former colleague in. But Professor Anna Berardi, a criminal pyschologist who is friends with both men, believes the Nicola is innocent. She suggests that the real killer is Franco Tribbo, a maniac known as "The Midnight Killer" who supposedly died in a hospital fire several years previously. Terzi is not conviced but Nicola is killed and the murders continue...

Молодая девушка Шерил вместе с подругой получает в метро приглашение от странного человека в серебряной маске на премьерный показ нового фильма ужасов о демонах, нашествие которых якобы предсказал Нострадамус. Сеанс должен состоятся в одном из только что отремонтированных берлинских кинотеатров под названием «Метрополь». В его фойе одна из посетительниц видит манекен в серебряной маске демона и шутки ради примеряет эту маску, чтобы сфотографироваться в ней. Поранившись обо что-то острое внутри маски, девушка с недовольным видом идет в зал. Происходящее на экране странно напоминает то, что в действительности произошло перед сеансом — та же маска и кто-то из героев поранился о нее… Как раз на моменте, когда молодой человек на экране читает отрывок из книги Нострадамуса, повествующий о том, что всякий, надевший маску, превратится в демона, поранившейся посетительнице становится плохо, и она идет в женскую комнату лишь для того… чтобы пророчество Нострадамуса сбылось…
