There's been a growing trend in VHS collecting, which has created an entirely new market for professional VHS grading, very similar to what's been happening with video game cartridge grading. As the owner's of 1000s of crappy VHS tapes, we were curious to dig deeper into this trend, as well as examine what makes something valuable and collectible. Das Foot was RedLetterMedia's first time doing the Milwaukee 48 Hour Film Project, in which you have 48 hours to conceive, write, film, and edit a short film. The idea was based on a story in the news around the time about random severed feet washing up along the shore somewhere in Canada.

The story is about Chicago cop Jack Wolf (Rich Evans) trying to fight corruption in his department. Tom's only relief in life comes in the form of Allison (Jessie Cuellar), a homeless woman whom Tom falls in love with. But Allison might not be what Tom thinks her to be. In reality, she's the head of a secret, underground terrorist group known as "The Triad." It's up to officer Jack Wolf to bring Tom out of depression and help him fight the manipulation of the system.

Nominated for 4 Rewind Awards, it's a filthy little movie, but funny. Blanc Screen has never been this offensive before or since, so if you like that, check it out.
