Три истории о влиянии трех Божьих чудес в средневековом смысле, которые происходят с героями фильма, живущими в посткоммунистическом обществе, которое после полувека атеизма вновь узнает о христианстве. Сегодняшнее общество напоминает языческое общество раннего христианства, когда идолы предыдущего периода, коммунизма, сосуществовали с новой религией. Эта яркая среда, наполненная суевериями, фундаментальным непониманием Веры и преувеличениями, часто создает комические и трагические ситуации в жизни шести героев, за судьбами которых мы следим с 1993 по 2001-2026 годы.

Musical takes place before summer break, six months before the original movie "Next to Me' takes place. Characters are more immature and younger than in the original movie, and with their actions lead others into unpleasant situations, sometimes even hurting them. Some of them learn something from their experiences, learn how to apologize and forgive, while others don't.

For 40 year old Nikola, everyday life is just about producing the worst, the most vulgar reality shows and hidden cameras for TV. His life begins to change when he starts to mentor young girl pushed to be star by her ambitious mother. In turn of the events, Nikola starts to wonder if it is he who is the target of some hidden camera show.

After being attacked by a group of masked hooligans, Olja discovers that some of her students were responsible. She decides to teach them a lesson by locking them in the school building and confronts them.

Ivan teaches history in a Belgrade high school. In his class, Ivan is provoked by a student and ends up slapping him on the face. In Serbia, in the heat of transitional changes, Ivan’s presence in school is no longer welcomed. He finds a temporary job opportunity in a war-scarred mountain village in Bosnia. On his way there, he meets Yasmina, a young Muslim woman, back from Germany to her homeland after the war and after being invited by an old friend – Hazim - who now runs a motel. A lone kiss in a stormy night, in a village still lying in ruins, will bring Yasmina and Ivan closer together in a joint escape from reality and to a ride on a dusty bus, where neither one of them wants to sit next to the window.

The conflict between innocence and evil is the shortest definition of the leitmotifs of the film. The story is taking place on a winter day in a remote province, far from all major events that shook the world today. A young woman teacher goes to a remote village where he got the first job after six years of waiting. Happy and hopeful that her life finally begins ... The other main feature is similar to it. Male character returns from the war in which, in fact, he was not. The first day of the war he was wounded and spent eight months in the hospital. His first job as a taxi driver on an empty train station where there is not many passengers, but it offers the peace that he needs to overcome his trauma and that gives hope that he is finally something good to happen. But harsh times threaten to destroy the dreams of the teacher and taxi drivers. Fortunately the man who is young like them, but he has completely different goals in life.

Главного героя фильма всю жизнь мучает мысль о его происхождении, многие годы собирает он по крупицам воспоминания очевидцев о страшном рождественском дне 1942 года, когда соседи из мусульманского села Османовичи напали на сербское село Юговичи. Они согнали жителей в церковь и заживо сожгли, только его, новорожденного мальчика, оставили в живых и отдали на воспитание в ту мусульманскую семью, которая и убила всех…

Что значит человеческая жизнь, когда вокруг бушует война, делающая сердца людей каменными, а умы — безразличными ко всему? Еще недавно цветущая, а ныне — разодранная на куски и обильно орошенная кровью, земля Югославии жестоко мстит за свою боль. Лишь вера в себя помогает молодым героям противостоять мраку, сгустившемуся над пороховой бочкой Европы — Балканами…

During the Yugoslav break-up, Federal Army officer is fed up with war and takes some leave in Belgrade. However, it turns out that he is less haunted by war horrors than with some sentimental skeletons in the closet. He meets his former comrade and best friend who is AWOL, but can't report him because he had an affair with his wife.

The story of poet Aleksa Santic, visionary and romanticist, great loser in private life. The poet was born in strict patriarchal, rich trading family from Mostar, in conservative social environment, in controversial times in the end of XIX and beginning of XX century. As a young man, he falls in love with the Slavonian girl, Anka Tomlinovic, daughter of poor photographer, leaving her under pressure of his family. Later, he meets Zorka Solina, young and rich girl from Mostar who, again because of the interests of her family, leaves the poet. In his mature years, Aleksa Santic engages himself passionately in social and political life of his age. Disappointments, poverty, sickness and loneliness follow. And the certainty of early death. His older brother tells the story of poet's life, while he is dying.

A love story of a couple coming from different social backgrounds set in the context of Yugoslavian reality, its social and state decline. Their quest for the meaning of life proves to be nothing but failure.

The adventures of a young commie activist, whose love for the party is not even close to the one he has for women. Every action he undertakes is somehow connected to the love adventure, and his rise on a social ladder doesn't stops even in the turbulent period of Informbureau crisis.

Two themes arise from the story, themes that are interlocked: the theme of love and of man's eternal submission to traditional symbols. The director Živko Nikolić continues his movie saga of human nature. Both themes develop the mythical idea of temptation. It is basic human relation: from the intimate to the families' vying with each other.
