После трагической смерти жены главный герой отправляется наемником в Югославию. И превращается в хладнокровного убийцу. Судьба сводит его с сербской девушкой, скрывающейся от соотечественников, но та погибает, оставив ему свою новорожденную дочь. Теперь этот огрубевший и потерявший всякую веру в людей человек становится единственной надеждой ребенка на спасение.
