Макото - трудный подросток с преступными наклонностями. Аи - примерная девочка из порядочной семьи. Однажды при случайной встрече Аи по шраму на лбу узнает в Макото мальчика, которому в детстве случайно нанесла травму, катаясь на лыжах. В этом шраме Аи теперь видит причину криминальных наклонностей Макото. Чувствуя ответственность, Аи проникается идеей вновь наставить его на истинный путь. В тайне от всех она организует перевод мальчика в свою школу Аобадай. Но ее усилия напрасны: после очередной стычки с полицией Макото исключают из престижной школы. Он попадает в школу Ханазоно, известную как заведение для трудных подростков, где кулаками быстро достигает авторитета и заводит дружбу с «королевой» Ханазоно Юки. Аи не опускает рук и, несмотря на возражения родителей, тоже переходит в эту школу. С появлением Аи Юки понимает, что влюблена в Макото, однако ее чувства не взаимны.
