Tananam Tananam (Kannada: ತನನಂ ತನನಂ) is a 2006 Indian Kannada romantic musical drama film directed and written by Kavitha Lankesh. The film introduces Shaam, a Tamil actor, to Kannada cinema along with Ramya and Rakshita teaming up together for the first time, in the lead roles. The film was produced by N. M. Suresh and based on a Tamil short story written by Kalki. The film released on 24 November 2006. The film won two Filmfare Awards in Best Actress and Best Lyricist categories. Noted violinist L. Shivamani (Nagarjuna) is a honest cop in Vizag. He falls in love with Vasantha (Asin), a beautiful lady who aspires to become a singer. In the meantime, Shivamani's mother (Sangeeta) gets paralyzed. Shivamani and Vasantha take her to Kerala to get the treatment of Kerala's Ayurveda specialists. In the process, Dutt gets back to Kerala and he is on the mission to weaken Shivamani by getting Vasantha away from him. The rest of the story is all about how he gets back Vasantha with the help of a newspaper's editor Pallavi (Rakshita).

A young man is guided by his mother in a methodical manner to avenge his father against the perpetrators who falsely accused and killed him.

Satya (Silambarasan) is the son of a police constable. He gets into fights and ends up in jail where his own father gets him out on bail. While he is returning home from a party drunk, a group of college students beat him up. That is when Suchitra (Rakshitha) comes and takes him to the hospital and gives blood. She is the daughter of a police commissioner. Later, Satya falls in love with Suchitra. That leads to several problems which are faced bravely by Satya in the later part of the film. Finally, all goes well, and Satya also receives the letter confirming his selection for IPS.

When Vivek is caught with a prostitute, he introduces her to his wife as Subbu's girlfriend. Subbu accepts his superior's plan at the cost of upsetting his girlfriend, which leads to many other lies.

Chanti, a young man, is rescued by Suchitra when he is beaten by thugs. He falls in love with her and tries to woo her, but she does not reciprocate his feelings.

Appu is a 2002 Indian Kannada romantic action comedy film directed by Puri Jagannadh. It stars debutants Puneeth Rajkumar and Rakshita in lead roles.
