Действие происходит в 60-ые годы 20 века в Австрийских Альпах. Название фильма изменено на "Десять маленьких индейцев" из соображений политкорректности. По сути, фильм является ремейком голливудской экранизации 1945г., с таким же хеппи-эндом.

Мисс Марпл введена в попечительский совет некоего благотворительного заведения, исправляющего малолетних преступников путём помещения их на учебный корабль в нечто вроде флотского кадетского корпуса. И — а что вы хотели? — не успела мисс Марпл впервые принять участие в заседании, как один из его участников, всё заседание упорно хотевший что-то заявить собравшимся, прямо там и умер.
