Герою Жерара Депардье, преуспевающему владельцу кабарэ со стриптизом, звонит из Гонконга друг из бурного прошлого, в котором их связывает долгом солдатской дружбы своевременно брошенная граната. Он просит его взять 20 процентов от суммы в 30 млн долларов и семилетнего мальчика-китайца с тем, чтобы доставить к матери в Париж.
