Сразу после выхода стал признанным шедевром. В основе сюжета, как нетрудно догадаться из названия, лежит библейская история о трагичной судьбе Моисея, изгнанного из древнего Египта вместе со своим народом. Чудесно представлены в постановке образы всех главных героев. Ведь в мюзикле подбор актеров особенно сложен, так как им нужно максимально достоверно соответсвовать своим персонажам. Выделяется противостояние Рамзеса и Моисея. Их соперничество зарождается на фоне любви к красавице Нифертари, и развивается в извечное противостояние добра и зла. Несмотря на то, что постановка осуществлена на французском языке, в большинстве сцен события понятны зрителю и без слов - на столько выразительна игра всех участников. Нельзя не отметить грандиозные декорации и спецэффекты, благодаря чему достоверность событий просто не вызывает сомнений. Это зрелище можно смело рекомендовать своим друзьям, если вы хотите удивить их чем то необычным и красивым.
