As every year, the celebration of All Saints Day brings Polish families together at the graves of their loved ones. On this special day Maria, 80-year-old widow, visits the graveyard with her son, his wife and their children.

Sharkey, part of the sinister world of child trade, picks up Vlado, an orphan of war, dreaming of freedom and a better life. They embark upon a strange and enlightening journey through war torn Bosnia. As they struggle to get out of the country and fight to stay alive, they find a special love and compassion from which emerges their ultimate moral and spiritual redemption.

В город были введены войска, в том числе 300 танков... События «Познанского Июня» зритель видит глазами двух мальчишек. Пётрек — сын одного из лидеров рабочих, а Дарек — сын офицера управления Общественной безопасности. В этот день они подружились.

В небольшой польской деревне живут четверо старых друзей, служивших когда-то кавалеристами в Легионах Пилсудского. Живут себе, поживают, вспоминая дела минувших дней и давно пропитые награды за отвагу, полученные от самого Коменданта. Только самый старший из них, Якубек, бережно хранит свою — саблю. С ней он и просит друзей похоронить его и серьёзно готовится к переходу в мир иной. Но Апостол Пётр не пускает героя трёх войн в Рай с саблей, а сам Комендант, вышедший на шум, приказывает ему повернуть назад, напомнив о присяге — перед смертью передать саблю внуку, в честь священной традиции польских легионеров. Но вот беда — внуков у Якубека нет, потому что его единственный сын, ботаник, интересуется не женщинами, а только учёбой и выведением гигантских сливогруш, в надежде побить рекорды Мичурина и Лысенко и высадить морозостойкие саженцы на Северном полюсе. Поэтому четыре кавалериста берут на себя задачу женить ничего не подозревающего Янечка, даже против его воли.

He made a career making movies, had numerous mistresses, but never realized their dreams. His life was interspersed with many setbacks that enfeebled him from the inside. Although he made a career in film, he was not happy with his life.

Bronek Pekosinski lives in Zamosc, Poland. He is probably 83 years old. He has no family and does not really know who he is. Everything about his life is fictitious: symbolic is the date of birth - the day World War II broke out, as well as his surname - after PKOS, an abbreviation of a charitable institution, and the place of birth - the Nazi concentration camp, from where his mother threw him over a barbed wire fence. Even his friends and guardians turned out to be false. Only his loneliness and his hump seem to be authentic. Two great powers have vied for young Bronek's soul: Roman-Catholic church and a totalitarian state. He fell into alcoholism. Partially paralyzed as the effect of cerebral hemorrhage, he is fired with an ambition of acquiring a mastery in a game of chess.

A world of the future where society is addicted to the drug of television. Supervision sessions create a perfect illusion of reality, making it almost impossible to return to reality.

The film is a continuation of the 1984 film I died to live. Leopold Wójcik, faking his own death, returns to the underground. Unlike the previous part, the fate of the heroes is a fiction - a variant of events that could have taken place. The film had a sequel: Born for the Third Time (1989).

Meanwhile, the Mayor is so preoccupied with his career that he doesn't notice the growing intimacy between his wife and Julian.

The action takes place in Warsaw in the second half of the 19th century. The main character is the head of the girls' school - Mrs. Emma Latter. Ms Latter is struggling with the financial problems of her institution, because the parents of the students are still in arrears with payments. In addition to professional problems, she is tormented by problems with adolescent children. All this causes Mrs. Latter to experience a mental breakdown.

1950, a small town in Poland. Not the best times for shop owners like Jozef Piasecki - obstacles from authorities, restricted wholesale supplies. Moreover, he constantly argues with his son, the 17 year old Witek. Witek experiences love for the first time. This should be a time of great excitement for him, but Witek, being rather anxious about the future, becomes an example of a youth generation growing up under the long shadow of Stalin.

The main character, nicknamed "Teddy Bear" by his friends and acquaintances, is a manager of a sports club in Poland. One day he is detained at the border just as his sport team is off to a tournament. It appears that somebody has torn out a few pages from his passport. It occurs to him that perhaps his ex-wife has done it in order to get her hands on their joint account in a London bank. Therefore, he has to get to London as soon as possible in order to transfer the money to a different bank. The solution is taking part in a movie, made by his friend. The script requires a double role, thus the search for another actor is announced. The double has to apply for the passport, and that is solved through a girlfriend who agrees to play the dope's new fiancée. At the engagement party he is slipped a drug, and Teddy Bear runs off to the airport with the false passport. On the plane, however, he meets his ex-wife...

Ewa is a reporter. Using her feminine charms and other means she is trying to become a journalist on a Warsaw weekly popular magazine. She hopes to become political interviewer of personalities and state leaders. On her way up the ladder she trips over one of her own shoestrings and falls short of the goal she has been pursuing so fanatically.

Январь 1945 года. Через маленькую деревушку, к которой все ближе подступает линия фронта, проходят автоколонны фашистов, отступающих под натиском советских войск. Неожиданно в деревню въезжает советский танк, который случайно вырвался вперед и оторвался от своей колонны. Командира танка Михаила Лаврова и его товарищей укрывает в своем доме семья Валендовских. С их помощью удается спрятать и танк. После боевой вылазки танкистов, уничтоживших опорный немецкий пункт, фашисты решают расправиться с жителями деревни, если те не укажут местонахождение русских. И Лавров делает единственно возможное в этой ситуации — жертвует собой во имя спасения мирных жителей.

The main characters are the same two quarreling peasant families introduced in "Sami swoi" (Our Folks). The action of the film starts 18 years later. The old quarrels have been forgotten, but new problems keep popping up. They have no successors to inherit the farms. They invent a tricky and clever plan. The young granddaughter is to take over both of the farms after her marriage. Both Kargul and Pawlak have no rest until they carry out the plan. In the end, after numerous adventures and obstacles their cunning intrigue is fulfilled - the young marry and the land remains in the family's hands.

1944. Three wounded officers from both sides of political conflict meet in the hospital where the staff is politically divided too.

The main character has quit school, makes a living by taking pictures. He seduces a nurse who treated his head wound which he earned in a fight. They witness a hit-and-run driver killing a little girl on a sled. He builds up an elaborate trap by putting a doll dressed as a child down the hill in the path of a car. The man hits it and thinking that he hit a child - runs. Marek takes pictures of him and tries to blackmail him to use his car for a week. He wants to use the car to win back the nurse, who could not cope with his humors...

Он родом из этих краев, прекрасно знает людей и местность, и сразу замечает, что в деревне не все ладно. В округе действует банда Мороня - грозная и беспощадная. Она убивает и грабит местных жителей, и Слотвиня принимает решение расправиться с бандой.

To his annoyance, his fellow countryman, young and beautiful Lora, sets up a shop on the opposite side. There is fierce competition. Lora decides to take Hans to court. However, unfamiliar with German, the judge mistakenly marries them.

16-летняя Крыся Ковальска после смерти своей матери приезжает в Варшаву, надеясь найти приют у дальних родственников. Но по известному девушке адресу ее предполагаемых опекунов найти не удается. Заботу о растерянной провинциалке берут на себя подвозивший ее таксист Флориан и его сосед по коммунальной квартире доктор Богдан. Выдав девушку за племянницу таксиста, они устраивают ее в выпускной класс варшавской школы и всячески помогают наивной Крысе привыкнуть к столичной жизни. Вскоре у девушки появляется кавалер – молодой моряк Юрек, который готов сделать ей предложение. Вот только молодой человек не подозревает, что сердце новоявленной варшавянки уже занято.

Фильм состоит из трёх историй — трех приключений, из которых второе интереснее первого, а третье — самое интересное. Девочка Ика и её друг по прозвищу Горошек узнают по радио об исчезновении мальчика, в поисках им помогает очень неожиданный друг — старый автомобиль «Опель-Капитан». Во второй истории друзья отправляются в Африку на поиски экипажа самолёта. В третьей — ребята встречаются с внеземной цивилизацией.

The story takes place before World War II and centers on Pawel, a member of a conservative, middle-class family, and his love for Lidka, a taxi dancer. Social conventions and the lovers' inability to defy those forces Pawel and Lidka benefit. Times change, war breaks out, leading to Pawel sent to Auschwitz while Lidka marry his cousin. Their love has survived and conventions are no longer the issue.

После поездок в переполненном автобусе на работу и домой в кармане его плаща постоянно оказываются наручные часы (чаще дамские), браслеты и пр. Анатоль, естественно, обращается в комиссариат МО. Расследование показывает, что, как и следовало ожидать, все дело в шляпе...

Судьбы людей разных национальностей в последние часы войны в маленьком немецком городке. Отряд СС, который укрылся в окрестных лесах, чтобы прорваться на запад, вынужден пройти через городок. Доходит до уничтожения заключенных концлагерей, людей, вывезенных на каторжные работы, и американских военнопленных, которые решили сдаться. Кровавую бойню прерывает появление танков Красной Армии.

Фильм прослеживает дальнейшую судьбу Щенсного, главного героя фильма «Целлюлоза». Одна из сюжетных линий показывает борьбу деятелей КПП с существующим режимом, уличные манифестации, нелегальные типографии, разоблачение провокаторов и их ликвидацию. Вторая параллельная линия — любовь Щенсного и партийной деятельницы Магды.

Случайная встреча подтолкнула главного героя на откровенный разговор, в котором он рассказывает о своей жизни. В страшной бедности жила семья Щенсного. В голодные довоенные времена в поисках работы он с отцом уехал из своей родной деревни в город, где познал суровую школу жизни. Герой становится участником зарождающейся политической активности рабочего движения.

Первый послевоенный музыкальный польский фильм, действие которого развивается вокруг событий, связанных с постановкой на польской сцене первой национальной оперы "Галька" Станислава Монюшко. Премьера состоялась в Варшаве 1 января 1858 года.
