Увлечение неотразимым красавцем Тадеушем, свидания и бесконечные танцы в ресторанах чуть было не поставили крест на карьере молодой спортсменки. Главный персонаж второй новеллы (реж. Ч. Петельский) – начинающий боксёр Юзек Вальчак, который пришел в секцию бокса для того, чтобы поставить удар, и тогда «люди будут бояться». Герой третьей новеллы (реж. С. Ленартович) – молодой честолюбивый велосипедист Метек Лесняк, который страдает от снисходительных насмешек более опытных спортсменов и пытается победить в велогонке с помощью чемпиона Толека Пилярского. Речь в фильме идет не только о достижении выдающихся результатов в спорте, но и о необходимости соблюдать порядочность как во время состязаний, так и в жизни вообще.
