После того, как Юрек Киллер стал национальным героем, к нему со всех сторон сталипоступать самые заманчивые предложения. Теперь он уже не простой таксист, а глава крупного благотворительного фонда, куда стекаются весьма щедрые пожертвования. И одним из таких пожертвований являются три тонны золота в слитках. Мафия, естественно, не может упустить такие сокровища и для получения груза находит двойника, внешне обладающего полным сходством с Юреком. Но остается одно препятствие — сам Юрек Килер…

Обычного таксиста Ежи ошибочно принимают за профессионального убийцу с международной известностью по прозвищу «Киллер». Оказавшись в тюрьме, он неожиданно для себя встречает уважение и восхищение окружающих: сокамерников, полицейских и охранников. Позже гангстеры освобождают Ежи из тюрьмы и ему начинает нравиться новая жизнь, не сравнимая с прежней жизнью неудачника…

A story of high-ranking party members from the 1970s embroiled in political deception.

Told as a film within the film, the story concerns an aging actress. Ewa is a flamboyant, pushy actress whose career and love life have come to a dead end. She lives in a faceless housing development. She is totally engrossed in herself and dreams of making a comeback as a singer. But her overbearing personality time after time sets her into conflict with those she tries to work with in the theater and her bedroom.

A comical behind the scenes look at the Polish Football League where everybody involved including the clubs’ management, players, and referees are trying to get some.

Made in 1982, shelved for five years. Story opens with Lucja Krol's husband under the tram. She gives birth to her fourth son on the floor of their new apartment. Neighbor Wiktor, a communist intellectual, befriends the poverty-stricken family but is soon arrested and sent to jail. During the war Lucja narrowly escapes a Nazi roundup at the black market. Her sons hold ardent Communist meetings in their apartment, with her blessing. Lucja works hard, but without complaint. After the war, Klemens is inexplicably arrested, accused by the new regime of being a collaborator. Wiktor, now a high-ranking party member, trying to defend him, himself falls into disgrace. Klemens is tortured to "confess" and dies in jail, a Communist to the end. Lucja is never told about his fate.

The film depicts three days in the life of a state farm director, during which he celebrates his 40th birthday. He was adopted by four godfathers who have helped him throughout his life and have reached positions of prominence themselves. He makes a mistake at work turning away some foreigh investors and is required to cover the losses, but even his godfathers are unable to help him. He regains affection of his son instead.

В центре сюжета ряд встреч поляков, которые когда-то были заключенными в концлагере на берегу озера недалеко от немецко-швейцарской границы. Один из выживших в концлагере возвращается на это место и вспоминает свое прошлое и это время в истории.
