Master armourer Tomás has young wife Alena, of whom he is very jealous. One day the ruler of town sees Alena and decides to win her over for himself. To get a free hand for his love affairs, he sends Master Tomás to acquire more skills in Flanders. Jealous husband does not know how to secure fidelity of his beautiful wife while he is away, and finally accepts aid of the devil, to whom he signs his soul as a reward. Devil in the disguise of Master Ondrej works in Tomás's workshop and protects Alena against various courtiers and the ruler of town. But finally he falls in love with Alena himself and becomes her lover.

A drama about Slovaks who emigrated before WW I. It is focused on the life of Ondrej Muranica. He emigrates to America because of the hard life that is partly caused by Hungarian landowners. His dreams and hopes for a happier life are destroyed by a disaster in the mines where he works. Ondrej is declared missing.Years later he returns to his home country and finds out his wife married his best friend.

Inspector Cadek from the 13th police station should keep an eye on the released safe-cracker nicknamed The Cat. He rightly suspects that Cat will go and pick up his last loot which the police didn't manage to find and that he will want revenge on Karta who helped get him behind bars. At the hospital, Cat's ex-lover Fróny hopelessly falls for doctor Chrudimský and decides to start a new life. She still refuses to help the inspector in his search for The Cat and Karta.

Seventh form pupils at a grammar school in Přívlaky are preparing for a secondary school sports competition. Class creep Krhounek gives the class teacher Lejsal a copy of the seventh form’s magazine Roar. Most of the teachers insist on severe punishing the culprit. The author does not own up and consequently the whole class is punished by being banned from taking part in the schools competition. The most gifted pupil, Benetka, rather sharply criticises the school in a homework essay on a subject of his choice. The strict Czech language teacher is convinced Benetka is the author of the school magazine. Benetka denies the charge but his expulsion from school is proposed anyway on account the views he expounded in his essay. Eventually, Boukal, the author of the school magazine comes forward and admits to writing it. The pupils are allowed to take part in the contest and thanks to Benetka they win. In the meantime however the teachers vote to expell him.

Professor Karas is widely known as enthusiastic propagator of the motto "Morality Above All Else". He guides his students as well as his own family to live a morally decent life. One day he has an unexpected visit. It's his illegitimate daughter Vera, who is proof of his thoughtless youth. Mr. Karas know that she can ruin his image, thus he decides to keep her a secret and asks her to leave. Instead of leaving she takes a position of a governess in his own family without letting him know. Mr. Karas realizes that he must reveal the truth sooner or later, but he doesn't have enough courage to do so. As he postpones it, he is more and more scared to come to his own home.

Приз конкурса - двухнедельное проживание в роскошном горном отеле. Второе место выигрывает никому не известный пан Новотный. Под именем Новотного скрывается сам миллионер Барта, который желает поехать в отель под видом бедняка. Дочь миллионера приходит в ужас от безрассудной идеи отца и тайно предупреждает управляющего отеля, управляющий сообщает другим служащим, а швейцар сообщает постояльцам. В результате мнимого бедняка все окружают заботой и вниманием, и всячески стараются ему угодить, а две светские львицы решительно настроены заполучить его в свои сети. Вот только и служащие отеля и его постояльцы ошиблись в личности переодетого миллионера...

Jánošík has been topic of many Slovak and Polish legends, books and films. According to the legend, he robbed nobles and gave the loot to the poor. The legend were also known in neighboring Silesia, the Margraviate of Moravia and later spread to the Kingdom of Bohemia. The actual robber had little to do with the modern legend, whose content partly reflects the ubiquitous folk myths of a hero taking from the rich and giving to the poor. However, the legend was also shaped in important ways by the activists and writers in the 19th century when Jánošík became the key highwayman character in stories that spread in the north counties of the Kingdom of Hungary (present Slovakia) and among the local Gorals and Polish tourists in the Podhale region north of the Tatras.

On the coast of Yugoslavia lives fisherman Ivo Kralj, his wife Marie, son Vuk, and Ivo's mother in one happy home. Marie, who loves her husband and always looks forward to his return from sea, attracts Nikola, with whom Ivo, out of jealousy, has a scuffle at a dance. After the outbreak of World War I Ivo is mobilized. He ends up in a P.O.W. camp where he is subjected to hard labour. His family then receives news of his death. The years pass and the lonely widow Marie is occasionally visited by her friend Nikola. Ivo's mother would like her to remarry. Soon after the wedding Marie becomes pregnant. Ivo, who has been thought dead, succeeds in escaping the P.O.W. camp where he has spent several years. Upon his arrival home he finds his name on a memorial erected to the victims of the war...

Однажды врач путает рентгеновские снимки и по ошибке сообщает юноше, что ему осталось жить 24 часа. Петр договаривается о собственных похоронах и отправляется погулять напоследок. Незадолго до того, как, по его мнению, он должен умереть, он соглашается жениться на медсестре, которая должна разбогатеть, если выйдет замуж. А затем он узнает, что диагноз был ошибочным, и решает начать новую жизнь. Но как это сделать, когда формально ты уже мёртв?

Четверо богатых американцев чешского происхождения, трое мужчин и скучающая девушка Люси принимают приглашение фермера Филипа посетить его хижину в горах посреди дремучих лесов. Гранд-отель «Невада», как Филип называет свой домик, должен быть подходящим местом, где все подлечатся. В этой хижине с Филипом живёт некий Петр, который оставил людей после разочарования в любви и отказался от профессии врача. Люси заключает пари со своими спутниками, что заставит Петра поцеловаться в течение месяца. Избалованных миллионеров пугает первобытная среда, они хотят уйти, но в конце концов понимают, что осмысленная деятельность на свежем воздухе действительно действует как лекарство.

В конце концов, замаскированный в пожилого музыкального специалиста, Виктор устраивается на работу в музыкальном издательстве Дурдиса. Он советует Дурдису также нанять на работу „своего племянника Виктора“ — фактически самого себя без маскировки. Таким образом Виктор теперь сможет вполне официально ухаживать за дочерью Дурдиса Евой, которая Виктору очень нравится. А вот от „дяди“ без ума другая дочь Дурдиса, Елена.

The gullible buyer Žemla Martin (Francis Smolik) finally opened his dream shop. After a while, you get a lot of friends. Especially the former captain Kyllijána (Vlasta Burian), who come to him to drink brandy debt and sit on a bag of peas, where he talks nonsense. Its debt is starting to grow nicely. Later dupe marry an evil Pavlina Šustrová (Ela Poznerová). It can also bring their calculating mother, widow Catherine Šustrová (Antonie Nedošínská). These two together with a bun Kyllijánem use, but outside him are friendly. Later, when Žemla catches his wife cheating when he has become the father of a foreign child, and when he discovers that the shop is broke and completely vyjedený, poisoning. A best friend Žemlův captain Kylliján happily drunk debt for plum deleted.

Руководство некоего городка в российской глубинке погрязло в коррупции, взяточничестве, подхалимаже. И когда одновременно поступают два сообщения, что едет ревизор из Санкт-Петербурга с тайным предписанием, инкогнито, и что в местной гостинице уже две недели живет престранный чиновник из Санкт-Петербурга, руководство города делает вывод, что именно он и есть тот самый ревизор. А упомянутый чиновник, Иван Александрович Хлестаков, оказывается малый не промах, и пользуется ошибкой чиновников. Он довольно успешно играет роль ревизора из Санкт-Петербурга, друга Пушкина, и даже самого царя Николая I, с удовольствием принимает деньги от городских чиновников, сватается к дочке городничего и вовремя успевает смыться из города.
