The film was undoubtedly compiled to to show the skill and courage of Emilie Sannom, which gave her the nick-name 'Daredevil of the movies'. She supposedly showed it to her audience when traveling through Denmark and giving talks about her adventurous career during the 1920s.

This film was plagiarized - almost scene by scene - by Nordisk Film Kompagni who released their version only a few months later (2. August, 1910) with the exact same title!.

This is the oldest preserved film recorded in Iceland. It shows from a firefighting exercise that took place in Reykjavík in 1906.
