Simon is the king of the Danish art scene - eccentric, successful, wealthy, with a beautiful wife and a young mistress. Life is beautiful, until the day his unknown son Casper turns up and attracts all the attention. It turns out that Casper is the world-famous graffiti artist “The Ghost”. This is a provocation and a challenge to Simon, and the relationship between father and son is put to a serious test. However, against all odds he two slowly grow closer to each other, but the question is whether blood ties are enough? Because after all Simon has no plans of being a father, and Casper has other plans with his father than simply getting to know him…

Все задумано, чтобы поведать о Крконошах, одном из красивейших горных районов Чехии. А также о его обитателях, истинных горцах. Об этих традициях, обычаях и поверьях. В этом удивительном краю дорогу машине может пересечь одноногая лыжница, здесь у всех мужчин старше пятидесяти – ветвистые рога, и они им только рады. Водится там и благородный бабник с секс-миссией, и самый крутой, самый настоящий мужик, у которого только один недостаток – не мужик он. В этот день чьи-то судьбы заново переплетаются через 38 лет, а чьи-то сталкиваются впервые, самым неожиданным и потешным образом. Фильм простой, житейский, в чем-то грустный, но больше юморной. Но учтите – юмор будет истинно горский!

A loose adaption of Bára Nesvadbová's novel of the same name. A novel that lacks a dramatic line and concentrates on the flow of emotions and feelings of two injured and beloved women, two women that the aging lothario Mára came between. Honza Marak has long since abandoned a career in IT and has bought a cottage on the outskirts of a small village, where he’s settled in with his wife Marketa, daughter Anyna and son Sayen. He works in the woods as a forest labourer repairing roads and enclosures, cutting wood to sell and assisting the foresters. Marketa earns a living as a masseuse and alternative healer, making use of various mind-altering plants and mushrooms, which leads to conflict with the old inhabitants and eventually with drug enforcement. Daughter Anyna attends a distant school where her grades deteriorate as she wanders the woods learning from nature rather than from her textbooks.

The fall from the top to the absolute bottom can be very fast. A renowned physician, also a beloved father and husband, is accused of a serious felony. Innocence is hard to prove, especially when in desperation to try to save oneself, we sacrifice the secrets that should have remained hidden forever.
