Ullam is a 2012 Tamil-language Indian feature film directed by Arunmoorthy and produced by Vedha, starring Mithun and Priyamani in the lead roles, while Raghuvaran and Karunas amongst others in supporting roles.

The film tells the story of Raja Ravi Varma at a certain stage in his life. He is in the process of painting a masterpiece. The theme of his painting is Pururavas, the legendary king who fell in love with the heavenly nymph Urvashi, who later agrees to become his wife on certain conditions, but disappears without a trace when she discovers that the conditions were violated. Pururavas wanders all around to find her and ultimately does get united with his lover. Ravi Varma, during his work, finds himself attracted to his model Sugandha Bhai and this relationship begin to acquire certain shades of the legend of Urvashi and Pururavas. Together they are thrown into a torrent of love and passion from which they find it difficult to scape.

Madhu aka Madhavan (Jayaram) is a successful playback singer. Chandramathi (Urvashi) is his illiterate, rustic, betel-chewing wife with a bad habit of spitting in wrong places, and they have four children. It can be described as incompatible matrimony but still a happy one. Madhu loves his wife even though they are out of sync because she has brought him luck. Here enters Lekha (Mamta Mohandas), a sophisticated urban model-cum-singer, who finds a place in the hearts of all the family members. Chandramathi thinks Lekha will be the perfect wife for her husband and a good mother for her children.

A minister's secretary is killed in an explosion. Later, the minister gets killed in a hospital while under the medical supervision of a doctor who is the son of the deceased secretary.

Former army commando Bose gets fired after he stops a rapist's attack on a student. The young woman and Bose fall in love, but then his family is kidnapped, and he discovers that the rapist has connections to terrorists.

Two look alikes with contrasting behaviour. They exchange lives which lead to further complications.

Kunjoonju, Deepu and Ashtamurthy are studying hotel management at Pondichery. Kunjoonju is a 'Kanjirappally Achayan' who is always after girls. But his 'thrill' for a girl will end the moment he finds that she is interested in him. Abbas ,the trio's friend, arranges the top floor of a house for them to stay. The house is owned by Sophy and she she stays there with her two daughters Kamala and Padma. All three guys fall for Kamala, but Kunjunju and Deepu joins together and push Ashtamurthy out of the race by making him the 'Rakhi Brother' of Kamala. Kamala knows that Kunjunju is a flirt and so she tries to keep away from him. Deepu never tells about his love to Kamala or to Kunjunju, but Ashtamurthy knows about it. Kunjunju and Deepu falls apart after a fight and Ashtamurthy brings them together. The story takes a turn, when Sophy dies and the sisters are left alone

The story centers on six youngsters, who experience the downfalls of teenage life. The film conveys a message about the importance of a good education and career over other distractions, such as romance and sex.
