Petr Rynes (Svatopluk Matyás) is celebrating his forty-fifth birthday in the company of his friends. He is happy with his wife, and his abilities at work have been rewarded with the medal For Outstanding Work. But a few short seconds are enough to change his life when he makes the ill-judged decision to take his car to bring a friend's wife to the celebration, and hits a pedestrian on the way. He has of course been drinking at the party and is consequently sentenced to sixteen months in prison. Being in jail is not an easy thing for a honorable communist. He soon gets into conflict with several violent inmates, who think they can break his spirit by violence.

Kastl is a hairdresser but his real passion is his second job as football referee. This job takes all his free time and makes his wife very nervous.

The harsh reality of a home for abandoned children blends with episodes of youthful fantasy and slapstick comedy in this story of an orphan girl. Lucy's fondest wish is to find new parents and leave an orphanage. She befriends a man who can create doors from paint. He gives her a stuffed dog that magically comes alive when placed on the ground, and he and his wife end up adopting the little girl. After finding parents of her own, Lucy sets out through fantasy to find parents for her orphan friends. All of the people Lucy meet during her remarkable make believe wanderings end up taking children home.

It is 5 May 1945 and the uprising against the hated German occupiers has broken out in Prague. The Czech guards open the gate of the Pankrác prison to allow the prisoners to escape en masse. Many of them are shot dead by the German guards but young Ruda (Jaromír Hanzlík) manages to run away. He is taken care of by one of the Prague fighters, concierge Kytka. Kytka hides him in the flat of the house's owner where only the young maid Karla (Jana Brejchová) is left, ordering her to take care of Ruda.

The story of Czech pilots in RAF service during the Battle of Britain, and the ongoing aerial battle in Northern Europe. It tells the story of the crews of the RAF’s No. 311 Squadron, which was mainly crewed by escaped Czech airmen, and their bombing raids during the Second World War.

He only fails at the swimming pool. Zuzana (Jana Sulcová), the good-looking blonde, ignores the men whom the devil foists off onto her. She loves Honza (Václav Neckár) and the boy shares her feelings. The fiend is annoyed by the couple and tries to provoke a row. He sends heavy rain to force them into a hotel and then warns Zuzana's father by phone, but the young lovers manage to get out in time. Then the obstinate Asmodeus takes Honza in his sleep to the Institute for Emotional Disorders, where he shows him the ugly sides of love - hysteria, voyeurism, fetishism, suicide attempts...

Владелец популярного журнала о светской жизни дает репортеру уголовной хроники Алену Пинкертону весьма странное задание. Честолюбивый красавец должен отправиться в замок Моррисвилль, где состоится бракосочетание сэра Морриса Ганнибала и леди Кларенс Гамильтон. Молодой репортер решительно настроен написать хороший материал, и его не пугают даже зловещие угрозы в адрес гостей мероприятия. Заполучить эти архивы прежде, чем это сделает кто-то другой, было задачей госбезопасности. Изучая различные документы, разговаривая со многими людьми, и том числе и с задержанными агентами иностранной разведки, многое удалось уточнить и даже установить в этом труднейшем и запутанном деле... Всё это даёт надежду, что в недалеком будущем нацистские архивы будут обнаружены.

The disappointed Bartos, trying to verify his theories, therefore accepts the outrageous proposal of Marion, owner of a brothel - to surgically replace the face of her lover, the wanted thief Cutter, with the face of murdered Father Hopsasa. Bartos is well paid but his successful operation remains a secret.

В основу фильма положены действительные события, происшедшие в чехословацкой деревне Мокрая Гора в 1948 году. Цирил и Рудла работали на лесопилке и были друзьями. Цирил руководил бригадой. Рудла занимался общественной работой. Однажды руководство лесопилки и Рудла решили создать в деревне сельскохозяйственный кооператив. Выступавшие открыто против артели были арестованы, и все же в кооператив вступило всего несколько семей, большинство же, несмотря ни на что, отказались. Цирил понимал, что Рудла своими неправильными и поспешными действиями только озлобил крестьян...

В центре фильма — история семейной династии, связанной с пражским «Колбенко», заводом ЧКД по производству локомотивов. Дедушка Антонин, уже пенсионер, сын Рудольф, мастер цеха сборки локомотивов, и внук Антонин, перспективный футболист. В фильме также рассказывается история дочери Рудольфа Веры — каждое поколение имеет свои представления о жизни и не может идентифицировать себя с другими. Это реалистическая концепция жизни рабочего класса, не обремененная идеологией.

История о маленьком чешском мальчике Франтишке Буреше, освобожденном советскими солдатами из концентрационного лагеря. После освобождения Франтишек попадает в полевую прачечную, где ему не нравится, он постоянно стремится участвовать в военных действиях. И однажды ему удается раскрыть немецкую группу разведчиков, за что он был награжден медалью.
